The Fraud Defender product is an optional product available to you that you can enroll in by clicking on the link below. We offer two different programs for you or you and your family that you can choose from to best suit your identity protection needs and the cost depends on which program you choose.

The program includes the following features:

  • Fully managed recovery assistance with a personal advocate that will stay with you until your identity is recovered.
  • Protects your entire identity and not just accounts held at Deseret First.
  • $100,000,000.00 in expense reimbursements, such as court costs, lost wages and fees.
  • Credit monitoring provided by Merchants Information Solutions and TransUnion (an email address is required for credit monitoring services).
  • If your information comes up for sale on the black market, you will be notified and you can take protective measures to protect your identity.
The cost for Identity Theft Protection Service is automatically deducted from a credit or debit card of your choice on a monthly basis and can be canceled at any time without penalty.
