How to enter: Automatic entry – One entry into the contest drawing will be made automatically by Deseret First Credit Union for every eligible transaction. An eligible transaction is defined as a purchase completed with a Deseret First Credit Union VISA Debit Card and authorized through the VISA network as a signature-based/credit transaction. Multiple eligible transactions are allowed. Personal Identification Number (PIN) authorized transactions are not eligible.

To enter without purchase or obligation by mail – Entrant must print his or her name, home address, and day and evening phone numbers on a 3"-by-5" card and mail to: Deseret First Credit Union, Marketing Department, Attention: Debit Card Contest, P.O. Box 45046, Salt Lake City, UT 84145. Entries are limited to one per month per person, one entry per stamped envelope mailed. All entries must be postmarked by the last calendar day of each month during the contest period and received no later than 3 business days following the last calendar day of each month during the contest period. All entries become the property of the Deseret First Credit Union and will not be returned.

Drawings: Potential winners will be randomly selected on or about 5 days following the last calendar day of each month during the contest period in a random drawing from among all eligible transactions during a given calendar month. Drawings will be conducted under the direction of the Deseret First Credit Union Marketing Department, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest. Limit of one prize per person or household.

Odds: Actual odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. The winners will be drawn from a pool of eligible entrants and is subject to terms, conditions and judgments of the Deseret First Credit Union Marketing Department, whose decision is final.

Prizes: Each calendar month there will be ten (10) prizes equal to the amount of each the 10 transactions drawn of up to $500.00 each. Winners receive the amount of their transaction drawn up to $500.00 in the form of a deposit into the account where the winning transaction occurred. A winner with a transaction amount greater than $500.00 will receive the maximum award of $500.00. Mail entry winners will receive an amount equal to the average total of all other prizes awarded during a given month in the form of a check or ACH deposit. No substitutions, cash equivalents, or transfer of prizes are permitted, except at sole discretion of Deseret First Credit Union. The winner is responsible for the payment of taxes on the prize and for any other expenses not specified.

Notification: Potential winners will be notified by phone or mail and will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, as well as a publicity release. In the event of non-compliance of these rules and regulations, or if the prize is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner determined by Deseret First Credit Union. If you are determined to be a winner, you must agree in writing to accept these Official Contest Rules and Regulations to claim any prize. By accepting any prize from the Sponsor, the winner consents to the use of his or her name, likeness and any other information for any and all advertising/publicity purposes without further consideration, except where prohibited by law, and without any additional compensation. The winner expressly waives the right to review any and all advertising bearing his or her names, photographs, likeness, and titles prior to its use.

Limitation of liability: The sponsor, its officers, directors, employees or attorneys are not responsible for any damages, loss or liability with respect to the use of the prize awarded in the contest, or any incomplete, lost, late or damaged postal mail. Contestants release all parties from any of the above mentioned liabilities. These Official Rules and Regulations and any disputes arising from these Official Rules and Regulations shall be interpreted by and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah.

Receipt of the notification of winners: Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Deseret First Credit Union, Marketing Department, Attention: Debit Card Contest, P.O. Box 45046, Salt Lake City, UT 84145.

Right to cancel or modify contest: Deseret First Credit Union reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if fraud or technical problems question the integrity of the contest, as determined by the Sponsor.
